Dr. sc. Simon Eugster Simon Eugster is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Dynamics and Control Section in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His research focuses on the development of mathematical models and computational methods to describe the dynamics of flexible multi-body systems with frictional contact. Besides the computational analysis of nonlinear rods, he is particularly interested in non-smooth time-integration methods that can cope with frictional contact interactions between rigid and flexible bodies.
